I am 26 years old. I have an I.U.D but for the lates 2 months I didn’t get my period. ?

I am 26 years old, and have two kids. (3 year old boy & 11 month old girl) After having my baby girl, I had got an I.U.D done from my doctor. But seem my I.U.D I get my periods every other month. But this times its bin two months since my last period. Do you thing some thing is wrong with me? When it comes to the IUD I believe it can be mental torture at times.
The mirena IUD in fact can stop your periods altogether. BUT! Women need to be aware that women are getting pregnant with the device. You need to have a couple pregnancy tests on hand to relieve any doubts or suspicions. That is why I didn’t choose the MIrena. I have the copper IUD cause a period lets me know I am not pregnant.
If you search on yahoo answers regarding pregnancy and IUD you will be surprised that it seems a lot of women are getting pregnant with this. So far it hasen’t happened to me. ( Knock on wood)I have Mirena and I haven’t had a period in 18 months.At first it’s a little nerve wracking,thinking you could be pregnant every month but eventually you’ll get used to it.eventually it goes away. did you get the mirena (5yr one)? its normal and its the perk of having the mirena. if you got the 10 yr one u are supposed to get heavy bleeding.
