HEAVY bleeding after removing Mirena?

I know I posted a question yesterday about bleeding but I still don’t understand what the hecks up!
I got Mirena put in Monday afternoon, my body went out of whack and I was getting sick, couldn’t sleep, had a fever and really bad cramps (I couldn’t sit up). So Wednesday around 1pm, the doctor in the ER took it out. I didn’t even have it in for a full 2 days.
The next day after having it removed, I started bleeding heavily and clotting, A LOT. Today, same deal. It hasn’t gotten any better. What would cause me to bleed SO MUCH? I didn’t even have the IUD in that long. Monday, when I got Mirena put in, I was on the last day of my period, so it can’t be that.
It’s scaring me and frustrating me, cause it’s just so heavy and not normal for me.Your body could still be trying to adjust to coming off the Mirena. However, I would recommend getting back in touch with your doctor to let them know what’s going on.
