so i stoped my birth control pills like maybe 3 weeks ago because i was tired of them making me sick and was supposed to get my period today but didnt would that have anything to do with it? im taking a pregnancy test today but i reallly dont think im pregnant we had sex like 1 time on the 26 and it was protected but yeah could stopping birthcontrol make periods weird ooh and i had my son 5 months ago so they were weird but with birth control pills they were exact!The birth control causes your period to be exact because it’s not really a period. You don’t ovulate, you just bleed as you stop taking the progesterone in the pill for a few days.
Yes this is very normal. A lot of the time, traces of hormones remain in your body way after you stop taking the pill. Some women get their period right away, some take months. It took me 3 months, it took my sis 8 months. You just have to be extra careful now.Also, if they were making you sick, you should see a doctor before starting them again, the dosage may be too high for you.
