Switching birth control?

Okay so I have been on Ortho Tri-cyclen Lo for exactly a month now (just took last placebo pill today) and am suppose to start a brand new pack tomorrow. Problem is I told my mother that I needed to get a new pack a few weeks ago and she never did anything. Then I asked her if she went to the pharmacy and she said she did and that they called my doctor and that they are switching my birth control because Ortho Tri-cyclen Lo is too expensive a month ($60) and now I don’t know what to do! I’m scared my period is going to go crazy again. Will I have to wait ANOTHER month before having sex without a condom? I don’t know how many days I’m going to be off it. It sucks. Help!You might have to talk to your doctor about that and see when they think its best for you to start. They way i would do it is start the new pack on a Sunday. Now if its because of the price I was on those pills and there is this website called birthcontrol.com they have 3 month supplies for $48. Its super cheap. The pharmacy is in Canada but they require proof of you prescription. I did it through them and saved alot of money.ok, your question seems a bit unclear… are you starting a new pack of something tomorrow? if so, even if a new brand you should be fine. but remember, pills only help to prevent pregnancy, not stds. so unless you are in a serious stable relationship, you should really be using condoms anyway, and no offense, but if your mom is buying your b.c, you should be using condoms every time just on that. Plus, which is more expensive? having a kid or possibly getting a serious std or paying for birth control. Please, i know women that pay $500 for a purse but whine about bc pills. Get real. Be responsibleomg honey be careful about birth control my sister had to go to the hospital and almost died taking Ortho Tri-cyclen. if your going to talk to your doctor. the reason why she almost died is because she could not stop bleeding down there it was so bad. go with your instinct. a period is suppose to be natural even thought we all hate it. i hate it so much i get sick and throw up on it. but a period is suppose to clean out a woman’s body. it even talks about a woman’s natural flow in the bible
believe it are not idk??? you will have to consult your doctor about this one Instead of worrying about the pill i would suggest just naysaying the whole thing and just getting nuva ring or mirena.
Those two are supposed to be fantastic with less side effects than the pill, plus you dont have to remember to take anything.
