I had a doctor appointment today for biopsies with a doctor’s card with the correct date and time but the office staff did not have it on the books. I was told after waiting 30 minutes oh sorry but he won’t have time to take care of that today let’s reschedule. I drove 20 miles and took 2 hours off work. Should I send the office a bill and a letter of complaint to the doctor? I know mistakes are made but my boss is not reasonable and I have been stressing about this biopsy all week.absolutely… something that serious as well as the time you missed, you should be compensated. I wouldn’t sue for millions or anything to crazy, but the time you missed from work and the mileage should be compensated. uughhh…id be soo mad…cause i know i stressed for about 2 weeks before my biopsy…..id be really upset too…but me personally…id be too embarressed to send a complaint to the dr. but i know i would want to. especially something that serious to you, you shouldn’t have to be put on hold..especially witha rude boss…..is presonally tell my boss that you have to have this taken care of because thats serious. you wouldn’t be getting a biopsy for nothing you know? your boss should understand.They are very unlikely to give you any compensation.
You should find another doctor, and when your doctor asks why you are leaving, tell them.
