okay, so when you use tampons for the first time, does it break you hymen? or does it just wear away gradually?if you have a big tampon it could happen but tampons are designed to catch the blood at the bottom and so they don’t have to go in that far.
a pad doesn’t go in at all!
when you break your hymen it is more like peeling away the lid on a plastic tub (think bottles of milk) and it takes alot of effort ( in,out in,out)
so tampons won’t do it
and hey, you may not have been born with one anyway!
how do you know? you never looked!!!The chances of you breaking your hymen is very unlikely. Your vaginal canal is about 6 in. A tampon is about 4 1/2 in. The only way to tear it is by having sex, physical activity, or if you visit a gynecologist. There is no way of knowing it’s broken unless by a health care provider like ob/gyn. When they check it, they break it (this happened to me).
Also, if you’re worried about whether or not you’ll be de-virginized by using it, don’t worry about it. Inserting tampons doesn’t do that. It all depends on your views, i.e. through sexual intercourse, finger insertion, etc.
